Crooked Willow Farms Navigation Tips

Using the menu to navigate:

The left side of your browser window contains a menu of places to visit in our website (as shown below).

"Crooked Willow Bred Available Horses" is a drop-down selection that allows you to view a list of horses that fall into the categories of "Weanlings", "Yearlings", "2 Year Olds", "3 Year Olds", and "All". Click the down-arrow to expand the list.

"Find Horse By Name" allows you to find a horse on our website by typing its name or entering the first several characters of its name. If multiple matches are found then the page displayed allows you to choose which horse you are looking for.

To use this feature, type the horse's name or partial name, and then use the "return" key or click "Go".
Another interesting feature of "Find Horse By Name" is the ability to find all horses whose name starts with a particular letter. To do this type, for example, a%%. The percent signs (%) act as a wildcard.

Viewing details about a particular horse's lineage:

Each of our horses, when displayed, will show you that horse's lineage or bloodlines. Here is an example for Acord III.

Any horse within the lineage that is underlined can be selected by clicking on the name. That will return to you a page describing that horse.

Using photo bars at the bottom of selected pages:

The Home page, several of the information pages, all the Stallions, and some additional horses have a photo bar near the bottom of the page. As you move your mouse over the photo it will change to a hand symbol and allow you to select the photo. Upon selection the photo will appear in a new window, enlarged, and at higher resolution. Use the close button at the top-right corner of the new window in order to close it.

Click on photo to obtain larger, higher resolution image.

Several horses have a video available. Click in this box to download and view the video. Note: Download time is dependent upon your internet access speed.

Using the navigation history:

As you navigate through our website and view our horses, a navigation history is kept and displayed as shown below. To go back to a horse that you have viewed, simply click on that horse's name. Note that only one line of history is maintained.
