Chaleon has beautiful movement, great jumping technique, and correct conformation.

Chaleon competed successfully in the hunter divisions with John French on the West Coast in the hunter ring. Chaleon has had Championships and wins in the very competive First Year Green Working Hunters. Other hunter highlights include top placings under saddle, in the Green Conformation divisions, and in the Green Conformation Model.

In 2009 Chaleon showed successfully with Jami Jensen in the 1.30m and 1.40m jumpers as well as the A/O Jumpers. Chaleon also has a number of offspring that have shown successfully in the Young Jumper Championhips.

Chaleon had an excellent foundation in dressage. In fact he brought home 15 blue ribbons in his first year of competition in the dressage ring at 1st Level with 10 scores over 70 Percent. Chaleon performed with exceptional consistency as a 5 year old stallion. Judges comments of "Lovely Horse" "Exceptional Willingness" "Harmonious" "Lovely Rhythm and Balance" appear regularly appeared on all of his tests. Chaleon consistently scores 8s on gaits, 8s and 9s on impulsion and submission.

Chaleon's offspring are correct in conformation, share his beautiful head, steady disposition, and three correct gaits highlighted by his exceptional canter..

Chaleon's sire Calido I received the incredible score of 10.0 for jumping ability in his Stallion Test. Calido's tremendous show jumping talent is passed on to his offspring. This secured him a top position in FN breeding value placing him #1 in Hanover and #6 nationally in Germany for 1999. Chaleon's Grandsire Cantus was a sire of show jumpers and produced international horses including Calvaro s/w.

Chaleon's damsire, Caletto I successfully competed in international showjumping competitions. In 1983 he was team bronze medalist at the European championships in Hickstead. In the same year he was the most successful German horse competing in Prix des Nations classes and the horse with the highest winnings at the CSIO in Geneva. In five years he won more than DM 100,000 - more than any German sire before him.
